Overview:
As behavior analysts, we are responsible for always acting in the best interest of clients and stakeholders (BACB, 2022). Additionally, cohesive collaboration is vital when working with clients under multi-disciplinary teams. Through collaboration with colleagues and other professionals outside of our field, behavior analysts can act ethically and provide continuity of care for the clients we serve. This workshop will describe what collaboration may look like in a professional setting, how behavior analysts can start collaborations, and why it is ethically important for continued collaboration. We will provide examples as they relate to occupational therapy and speech and language therapy.
